How to Activate Cash App Card Using QR Code or Without the QR Code?

 


To activate your Cash App card, you can follow these steps:

  1. Open the Cash App on your mobile device.
  2. Tap on the profile icon or the account balance icon at the top-left corner of the screen.
  3. Scroll down and select "Cash Card."
  4. Tap on "Activate Cash Card."

Now, depending on whether you have the QR code or not, you can proceed with the following options:

Activating with QR Code:

  1. If you have the QR code that came with your Cash App card, position it within the frame on your device's screen. The app will automatically scan the QR code.
  2. Once the QR code is scanned successfully, your Cash Card will be activated, and you will see your card details in the app.

Activating without QR Code:

  1. If you don't have the QR code, you can choose the option "Missing QR Code" or "Don't Have QR Code" in the Cash App.
  2. Cash App will then ask you to enter the CVV (3-digit code) and the expiration date found on your Cash App card. Fill in the required information correctly.
  3. After entering the CVV and expiration date, tap on "Activate" or "Continue."
  4. Cash App will verify the information and activate your Cash Card. Once activated, you will see your card details in the app.
